SUCCESS

Hey Guys! Hope you’re having a lovely week! I turned a year older this month and I’m so grateful to God for His continuous faithfulness in my life -He becomes more rooted in who I am each and every day and I’m excited to see what He has in store for me this year.
Normally, you all know I do talks and write ups and broadcasts on largely the matters of purpose and destiny. But today I am going to tackle success-its related but it’s also different.
I have a Soundcloud broadcast linked below that delves some more into this topic by discussing the financial flow that comes from talents you have.
But right now, I am briefly going to talk to you about success. Success is defined as the attainment of profit or popularity. It is also defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.
Firstly, I want you guys to understand a very important and fundamental principle-success is in the same family as purpose and destiny. This is why when you look up the meaning of success you will always find reference to purpose, and even when you look up the meaning of purpose you will find it is connected to destiny. Just like your last name lets people know your family background, is the same way, success, purpose and destiny have connected meanings because they are related.
Now, to attain success, following on from that metaphor, you need to understand it has the same traits as purpose and destiny-starting with identity, and evolving into activity.
But today I want to concentrate on the traits that are key to attaining success.
Firstly, you need to protect your relationships. This is why I said purpose, destiny and success are all in the same family-in other words, you should not mix success in the same category as failure-success and failure are not family and they are not friends. What I mean is, you cannot hang around those that speak negativity or influence you negatively and expect a successful atmosphere. You need to surround yourself with go-getters, people that encourage you, people that inspire you and push you forward. Supporters are friends of success not failure.
So look into your life-and allocate those surrounding you accordingly.
This will enable your mindset to be influenced properly in an environment that is conducive and responsive to success.
Although failure is not a friend of success, failure is an acquaintance. An acquaintance is someone one knows slightly, but not as a close friend. The difference here is important. Failure is lack of success. In other words, where failure is a friend, success becomes an acquaintance-an occasional occurrence. This is why you need to be careful not to become familiar with failure. Keep it at arms length-learn from it-but don’t become comfortable with it-advance your knowledge of success.
You may ask: well Tolu, how do I do that? How do I advance my knowledge of success? By activating the language it speaks! This is the third step.
You need to learn the language of those that have known success-determination. This is a language that is spoken by each and every person that has succeeded-they have recognized this dynamic between failure being an acquaintance and making success a friend through consistency and communication through dedicated diligence.
This is how you make failure an acquaintance-by refusing to speak in its language. A language of complacency and defeat. You will find that failures and successful people don’t speak the same way-they speak different languages.
Once you learn from your failure, continue speaking a language of success-of determination and consistent communication with your venture.
And success will speak back-which is why if you trace any of your inspirations, you will notice they continued diligently in their endeavors and they refused to make failure a friend. Rather, they studied success, they became more familiar with its language-and eventually success spoke back-sometimes it speaks back in such an audible note that it speeds you into the realm of a purpose filled reality in the blink of an eye-but this only happens when you have begun to engage it in speech-it starts as an inner whisper of direction. And you have to have an ear refusing to listen to failure but determined to listen to success.
These are some of the steps that are important in walking the path of success-realizing success comes from the family of purpose and destiny and hence cannot and will not hang around a family of failure which speaks a language of negativity.
So where are you missing in these key links?
Locate it and tackle it today. One important point I will reemphasize to summarize is: make success a friend and let failure remain an acquaintance.

Stay Blessed!
